Well the weekend is over and I hope you all had a great one. Mine was pretty uneventful once again. I did go out for awhile with the girls Friday night but nothing much to report there. Just some fun and chit chat.

Yesterday I was thinking about people who cheat on their spouse. I've had a couple of funny things happen over the years with people who thought they wouldn't get caught. One time my parents, Bill and I had gone out to eat and on the way home we thought we'd stop at a place that a friend of ours owned and have a couple drinks. It's kind of out of the way and in a small town a few miles from us. We were enjoying our visit with friends when 2 couples come in. I looked up and my jaw dropped when I saw who it was. One of the guys was my sister's best friends husband and it wasn't Joanne who was with him. We were sitting across the bar so they didn't pay much attention to us when they walked in and went to sit at a table. Then the men came up to the bar after giving the girls a quick kiss to order their drinks. That's when Dave saw us sitting there. The look on his face was priceless. Of course I had to say "Hi Dave!" What I wish I'd said was "How's Joanne" LOL but I didn't. They got their drinks and went back to the table and pretty soon the girls turned around and looked at us so I waved at them. That's the only polite thing to do isn't it? Needless to say they finished their drinks and left .I imagine they came there thinking it was a out of the way place and no one will know them there lol. Goes to show you just never know. I told my sister about it but I don't know if she told Joanne or not but they did end up divorcing.

The other one I caught cheating was a neighbors husband. Well I didn't exactly catch him. What happened was I needed something from the store so I ran to the Stop'n'Go to see if they had it. The clerk working there was a girl I had gone to school with. She knew where I lived so she asked me if I knew this guy. I said "Yeah, I've known him and his wife for years" She says "His wife??". Yes I said his wife. She then says his wife is dead. I told her his first wife is dead but Freida his present wife is alive and doing well. She then mentioned his daughters names to make sure we were talking about the same man, which we were. I guess she had gone out to dinner with him a few times and really liked him. She thought he was a great guy and had just sent him a thank you note for the nice evening they spent together that day. If Freida got the mail that day she sure was in for a surprise. That guy even stopped at my sisters house one night asking if he could come in and visit awhile. Man she slammed the door in his face and locked it and hollered at him to leave and never come back. It scared her.This couple stayed together though and he died years ago.

I also have a sad story about a girl friend of mine. Her name was Joanne too. My best friend Nancy, Joanne and her best friend Olive all bowled together on Monday nights. Joanne and Olive didn't know each other until we started bowling together and became best friends and rode together every Monday night. Pretty soon Olive would go to the pay phone and talk to someone every week. We asked her if she had a boyfriend and she said yes. She was married too by the way. One time we went up north for a tournament and once again she was on the phone. When she came back to the table we started teasing her and asked who he was. Joanne said she wouldn't even tell her who he was. Then I asked her if he had any brothers and she said yes he has lots of brothers. Well then it hit me. She's seeing Joanne's husband. Since I wasn't absolutely positive I didn't tell Joanne of my suspicions but not long after that she found out. This women would call Joanne's house looking for Phil and would even come to their house. One night she even kicked a hole in the door when Joanne wouldn't let her in and told her Phil wasn't there. She didn't believe her and kicked the door. I told Joanne she should have called the cops and have her butt arrested. Well to make a long story short Joanne and Phil ended up divorcing and he married Olive after she divorced her husband. But the story ends tragically. Joanne found out shortly after all of that that she had leukemia. They did a bone marrow transplant from her sister which was working but she then got pneumonia and died. She was only 32. She hated Olive so much and sometimes I believe hate can make you sick. I ran into Olive at Nancy's house once after that. I was there visiting when she showed up. She came in the house and after a few minutes I told her she has to move her car so I can leave. I just couldn't sit there and play nicey nice with her knowing what she had done. I may be a lot of things but I'm not a hypocrite. When we got outside I asked her if she sleeps good at night. Of course she didn't answer me, she just got in her car and moved it out of my way.

Being married 41 years I can honestly say I have never cheated on Bill and as far as I know he hasn't either. And if he has he better hope I never find out lol. You always get caught so I think if you're not happy just leave and get it over with. But then I have a tendency to think things are black and white, right or wrong with no in between.Thats a fault of mine! 

Anyway Bill and I were talking about the first two episodes and had to laugh all over again.

I took some video of a hummingbird feeding just outside my window so I'm going to try to put that in here.It's not real clear because I was shooting through the window screen. I just love watching them. I also got video if the groundhog but he was walking away from me so I'm going to try it again.
