It's a rainy gloomy day on this last day of March. That's a good thing though....it's not snow lol.
I watched a movie last night what I thought was going to be about the Green River Killer who murdered over 70 women over 20 years in Seattle. It turns out it was more about the ex-Sheriff Dave Reichert’s who worked on the case. It made it look like he was the only cop who did anything and who single handedly caught Gary Ridgeway. If you read Ann Rules book on this case I think you would agree that they made the wrong book into the movie. There was a task force formed to catch this guy and it took a lot of men to take him down, not just one man.
When I was in Seattle we drove along the strip where he picked up a lot of his victims and past his house where he lived. We also went to a lot of Ted Bundy's haunts and to his college frat house. It's kind of a strange feeling seeing those places. It's almost like you can see it happening at the time. The way Ann Rule writes it's just like you are there. You may think it's odd that we went to those places but it's educational in a way. These places are like any other place and it makes you realize anything can happen anytime, anywhere to anyone of us. There are people in this world who doesn't have a conscience and who gets enjoyment out of hurting others. It's scary thinking about it.
Speaking of movies. Don't you wish sometimes they would bring back Sunday and Monday night movies like they had years ago? I know I do. There isn't a whole lot on television anymore that's worth watching. I personally am getting tired of all the game shows like Deal or No Deal and Are you Smarter then a 5th Grader. Oh and the one called The Moment of Truth where you take a lie detector test and then they question you. I think that show will be the cause of a lot of heartache and misery. Why would anyone go on something like that taking a chance that your answer could ruin your relationship or hurt someone in your life. Is money really worth all that? I guess if your heartless and don't care you would be willing to do that. Now me on the other hand would make for a pretty boring show lol. My life is an open book and I have nothing to hide or anything that would hurt someone. But I still wouldn't go on a show like that. I think the producers are scrapping the bottom of the barrel these days trying to come up with new shows.
Have you ever thought of applying to be on a game show? I've thought about it but never have. Beth and I talked about the two of us applying to be on Big Brother lol. Wouldn't that be a hoot lol. Can't you just see the two of us on there. We'd probably be the first two voted off. But we'd have fun going out I tell ya lol.
Ok gotta run. Have sweet day everyone.

I've drawn a blank. Or is it called writers block lol. Of course it would be easier to write about something if there was something to write about lol. I haven't been anywhere to talk about since I've been sick so that's out. Well there's always the weather. The snow is gone once again and rain is on the way now. It's too muddy to go out and work in the yard yet. But I'm itching to be able to get outside for more then a minute going from the house to the car. I need to be as dedicated as some of you who goes out and walks everyday no matter what it's doing out side.
My sister will be coming over later today for a haircut. She's been calling me all week wondering how I am feeling so she can come over. She's always had me cut her hair even though I don't know what the heck I am doing lol. I always watch when I get a hair cut and see how the pro's do it and try to copy them lol. I must do ok as she keeps coming and always likes it afterwards. I use to cut everyone's hair but not anymore. Even Bill goes to the salon now. I just got tired of it. It seemed as though everyday someone was coming over for a hair cut. Of course I always did my parents though. Couldn't tell them no. My kids though quit me a long time ago lol. They wanted the "in" styles and that was way beyond me lol. So now it's only my sister who is still brave enough to let me near her with scissors. And that's fine with me.
Sis's housewarming party has been so much fun. Lots of good food, fun and even celebrities showed up. Had loads of fun dancing with Richard Gere, Elvis, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp lol. Serioulsy though it was fun. Those ladies have quite the imagination lol
Well I'm hungry so I'm off to get some breakfast.
Have a good day and ta ta for now.

Hello and Happy Friday kids!
I think I'm going to live lol. I feel a lot better today finally. I was beginning to wonder if that was ever going to happen though. Thanks to all of you for all your get well wishes! I really appreciate it! Love you guys!
I've been going through my vacation pictures to work on the circle journal Beth started and it's been fun. The problem I'm having is picking out the pictures I want to use. I've been very fortunate and have been to a lot of places around the country so that's a lot of pics to choose from. Especially when you only need enough for 2 pages lol. I have beach scenes from both oceans and all 5 of the great lakes and the Gulf. I have mountian pictures from the Rockies to the Appalacians to the Smokey's and Ozarks. Pictures of Mt. Rushmore and Mt. Crazyhorse, Devils Tower, Old Faithful, The Grand Canyon, The Painted Desert and The Petrified Forest. The Meteror Crater in Arizona, Las Vegas,Niagra Falls And of course Hawaii. And the list goes on so how do I pick from those lol. So Cindy, it's your book I'm working on so what would you like to see lol. All are awsome places and all except for Branson Mo. are my favorites lol.
I've been scanning quite a few of them into my pc so when I'm done with the book I'm going to post them in here. Not the ones I put in Cindy's book as I don't want to spoil it for her though lol. My plan now that I making scrapbooks is to do all of them sooner or later. I think I have quite a job ahead of me lol.
Ok, back to work. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you at the party! 3月27日 I got this email this morning and thought I'd share it with you. They are pictures a family took through their patio door windows up near Hayward Wi. This creature was watching their children playing on the den floor. 3月26日
Actually a Margarita is the last thing I need or want right now. I'm feeling better but not 100% yet. This is the strangest thing I've ever had. No fever, no nausea, just a wicked wicked cough that leaves you feeling so weak and listless. My ribs hurt so bad from all the coughing but that's better today. I hate feeling lightheaded and weak like this. Just going upstairs wears me out. I'm hoping as the day goes on I'll feel better because I have things I need to get done today.
Yesterday I made some potato soup with my leftover ham and ham bone. I think I could eat soup 7 days a week. It was good but I could only eat a small bowl because I just don't have an appetite. Of course it might help if I could taste it too. One good thing though is I think I've lost a few pounds and heaven knows I can stand to lose a few more lol.
You know men have it so easy. Here we are, both Bill and I are sick but who gets to sit around and take it easy. I know that's the way it's always been and women do keep going no matter how we feel but it makes me wonder. I makes me wonder if men think about the differences. I mean I don't feel any better or worse then he does but I still have to cook, do dishes etc. etc. I blame myself though really because he's spoiled lol. I wonder if it's too late to retrain him lol.
Well I better get going. I'm late today because I slept until 8:30 and now I feel like the day is half over. Hope you all have a good Wednesday and I will check in on ya later. 3月24日
Hello guys!
I hope your Easter was wonderful. Ours was OK, it would have been better if Bill and I wasn't sick. Yup, you guessed it. I caught what he had. It's not the flu, jut a wicked cold I guess. All you do is cough and cough and cough some more. I hurt all over from the coughing, even my tongue hurts. It makes you feel so weak and all you want to do is sleep. But you can't sleep becuase of the cough. I did cook dinner and Billy, Willam, Dana and Toni came to eat. Which was nice because they were a big help. After dinner we watched the tribute to Brett Farve I had taped earlier. Toni is a huge Packer fan and hadn't seen that yet.
Oh Billy brought me a nice surprise. He gave me is old apple Ipod. He got a new one so he gave me his old one. Now Bill can have my old mp3 player if he wants it. He likes to have one when he's mowing the lawn.
Josh called me this morning early to make sure I am still taking him birthday shopping. I really don't feel like it but I can't disappoint him. I was going to take him on Friday but we got all that snow dumped on us and the roads were bad Friday and Saturday. Speaking of snow...it's official now that Madison has gotten over 100 inches of snow total for the whole winter. I think we were close behind them. We are suppose to get more Thrusday and Friday this week. Isn't that just dandy!
Well I better go get ready to take Josh on his shopping trip. I'll be around later to see how your Easter was. 3月21日 My daughter had a sonogram yesterday and found out their baby is a boy. This is a 3D sonogram. Can you see the baby's eyes, nose, mouth and arm and hand? Isn't that amazing! They sure a better then the ultra sounds. And a lot better then X-rays like they use to do. She has to have another one in two weeks because they couldn't see the baby's heart well enough to make sure all his arteries and where they are suppose to be. After what we went through with William the kids always tell the doctors about it just to be safe. It's not inherited they say but it is something they want to know about. With what they can see in this sonogram everything looks ok but they just want to make sure. Well I'm sad to report that the weatherman was right. It's snowing like crazy here and instead of getting 6 inches like they first said, now they are saying 8 to 13 inches. Isn't that just dandy ;(. It's a heavy wet snow and just miserable. I suppose with Bill being sick I'm going to have to go out and shovel it off the decks. The driveway can just wait until it melts as far as I'm concerned. I was going to take Josh shopping for his birthday present today but I think that might have to wait too now. Stupid snow!!! He'll be disappointed but I don't want to be out on the roads and get stuck or take any chances with him with me. I decided that I'm going to cook Easter dinner instead of going out to eat. It only cost me $45.00 for the groceries compared to over $100.00 for the 4 of us if we'd gone out. Billy and William will be here and possibly Dana and his girlfriend. So it's a lot cheaper eating at home. I'm sure glad I went to the store yesterday instead of waiting until today to go. I don't like driving in the snow if I don't have to. I suppose I better get dressed and get out there and shovel some of that snow. If we get all they say we could I don't want to wait until it's done snowing. That would be way to hard to do all at once. So I will do a few inches at a time lol. Have a great day on this Good Friday!
3月20日
Would you believe we are under anther winter storm advisory starting tonight into tomorrow!!! They say we could get up to 6 more inches of snow UGH! All the snow we had is gone except where they had to pile it up and now we have more on the way! That doesn't make me happy at all. Hopefully it misses us. One good thing is it won't last long and should melt in a few days...I hope!!! So much for today being the first day of spring huh!
My hubby is sick. I think he's getting the flu. He's been coughing for days, he aches all over and is sick to his tummy. I guess it's soup and crackers for him tonight. For a 67 year old man he doesn't get sick very often which is pretty good. But I still worry when he does. Right now he's asleep in his chair. He coughed most of the night so I know he didn't sleep good, and neither did I lol. I just hope I don't catch it. That's the last thing He had the flu shot but I know it doesn't work for all the strains of flu out there. I on the other hand have never gotten the shot ever. Or the shot for pneumonia that he gets as well. I rarely get sick and can't even remember the last time I was really sick. I had a cold a while back but that's all. In my younger days I use to get strept throat ever time the seasons changed and that wasn't fun. But I haven't had that for years now thank God!
Well, I think the right one got voted off American Idol last night. Amanda, the rocker girl was the one to go home. She's good but not that good and her songs all sounded alike to me. I was surprised that Carley was in the bottom 3 though. I personally think that out of all the girls she's the best. Her and Brook are my two favorite girls. I don't have a favorite guy yet though. All of them are good too but there isn't one that gets my feet a tapping lol. Not yet anyway.
Well I think I should go out and get my groceries for Easter Dinner before the snow gets here. Ugh, just saying that word depresses me lol. It will probably just be the two of us and Billy and William here for dinner. I'm not sure about Dana. If his girlfriend has to work he will most likely be here. This is the year my married children go to their in-laws for Easter. Next year it's back here again. It's nice doing it every other year. It's easier on them then trying to get to both families and easier for us too. Actually I'm trying to decide if I want to cook or go out to eat. We normally go out but I'm not sure if I want to do that this year. I guess I better hurry up and decide shouldn't I lol. 3月19日 Good Morning! I hope your Wednesday goes smoothly for you! Ok I'm mad! All the shows I like to watch on Tuesday nights are all on either at the same time or a half hour apart. And of course all of them are at least an hour long. I like Big Brother, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars and the Biggest Loser, and they are all on Tuesday nights either at the same time or just a half hour from each other. I am starting to take it personally lol and think they do it just to bug ME lol. I tape American Idol and watch that later because hubby likes to watch Big Brother. That's the only show that he will even stop playing poker to watch. I flip back and forth during commercials but even that doesn't work a lot because they all have commercials on at the same time. I might be able to see a minute of the show before it goes to commercial. Yup I know they do that to try to get people to watch their networks, it's all about ratings. It is frustrating though. Speaking of Dancing with the Stars I was quite surprised at how well Priscilla Presley did. I thought she was pretty graceful and didn't do half bad. I know she doesn't stand a chance to win but at least she's giving it a ago. And Marlee Matlin was amazing I thought. For someone who is deaf she did great. The one to beat though in my opinion is Kristie Yamaguchi. She said it's different dancing in heels compared to skates but she's the best on the show so far. Do any of you have a wireless mouse on your PC? We had one for years but it started to get a mind of it's own lately. It would go all over the place and stick where I couldn't move it at all. It's old so we thought it was just wearing out so Bill went to Staples and bought a new one. Well that one did the same thing. I would press the connect buttons and it would work for a minutes but then go crazy again. If I clicked on a link it wouldn't go or I had to click 3 or 4 times. Anyway it's frustrating as heck. We have a corded one that came with the PC so I hooked that one up but I really like the wireless ones better. Oh well I have to have something that works without giving me a headache lol. Bill will take the new one he bought back today as the problem must be in the computer since it did the same thing the old one did. Ok, I'm off to the shower. Have a good day and I'll stop in for coffee later. 3月18日

I am so full! We decided to go out to the Country Kitchen for breakfast this morning. They have the best omlets and I've been hungry for one lately. They use 3 different kinds of cheeses in them and they are so delicious. In fact I haven't found anyplace else who has better omelets then they do. You really need to try one lol. And now I'm stuffed and don't feel like moving even though I know that's just when you should move. Maybe tomorrow lol.
I have to go over to my sisters today and show her how to burn cd's. They had to get a new computer too and they got one just like ours and she isn't quite sure how to do it. So like a good sister I'll go and show her how lol. I'm nice like that ;).
Well believe it or not I can't think of another thing to say. the days have been pretty much identical lately with nothing to do.The weather is crappy, The days are long and the nights are even longer lol. In other words it's the same ole, same ole, day in and day out. Maybe I should get a job huh. What do ya think about that??? Then again, maybe not lol. I think I'll just sit and think about that before I make any drastic decisions I might regret lol. And if I sit long enough I know I'll forget what I sat down to think about in the first place lol. Besides who besides Walmart would hire a 61 year old granny, and I don't want to be a greeter lol. So I guess I'll just stayed here and be bored all the time. Sooner or later something exciting is bound to happen.Right???
Well I better get over there and show her how to do that. Then I will come and see what exciting things you all have been up to and live my life vicariously through all of you.In fact I might even walk over there and get my blood circulating again.
See ya soon!!!

We had such a nice day with the kids yesterday. It was Josh's 10th birthday and we all met at yet another bowling alley for his party. The kids just love doing that and are getting quite good at it. This bowling alley was very small, only 6 lanes but they do a lot for the kids on their birthday. Free pop and pizza along with the bowling. Well I guess it's not free as mom and dad have to pay for the party but they did more at this alley then the other ones we've been too lately. Of course for Josh the best part is opening his gifts. From there we went back to their house to visit awhile. The kids had fun playing with each other and the adults had fun doing some skeet shooting. And guess what, I eve tried it lol. I missed but I tried it. Let me tell you that gun has a kick to it when you shoot. It was a 12 gauge double barreled shotgun and I thought I broke my shoulder lol. I'm surprised I don't have a bruise today. Hubby is quite a shot though. I bet he got 5 of the 6 clay pigeons. The boys were quite impressed by dear old dad lol. I took pictures of the guys shooting but naturally they didn't take one of me when I did it lol. I'll put the pictures in the album as there are just too many to put in here. The kids even got to shoot at cans with a BB gun. I'm not real keen with the kids doing that but we were out there with them making sure they all were safe and out of the way. They bought this house because it has 35 acres just for this reason. Jon has always wanted to live where he can practice and hunt like this. I know men and boys have done it for years and years but guns scare me. It's good to learn and respect them I guess and they are careful. Josh will be taking gun safety classes soon. His dad is an avid sportsman and does it all so I won't be surprised if Josh turns out just like that too.
We came home around 7 and I left to go to another party lol. One of the "girls" I hang out with was throwing her man a 50th birthday party at the Moose Lodge. So you know I had to go to that one. I can't let my sisters and friends have fun without me you know lol. They had a band there and those guys are so good. I've heard them before and just love them. The lead singer sounds just like Willy Nelson when he sings Willy's songs. And when I hear good music I just can't sit still. I have to get up and dance and I'll drag anyone whose close to dance with me lol. It usually isn't too hard to do though because all my sisters love to dance to. I had to laugh at a lady who was there though. She loves to dance and have fun too but her hubby isn't into it like she is. She came out and sat by us so she could hide from him lol. He wanted to go home and she didn't. So she stayed away from him as much as she could. She did pretty good though. He didn't find her until it was almost over anyway lol. She's funny and I like her a lot.
So it was a fun day all around. I need more days like that. I wonder how long it would take before I would get tired of all the parties and just want to stay home if we had something going on every weekend. I'm thinking it would take quite awhile. Give me my family, good friends, good music and room to dance and I'm a happy camper. 3月13日 | Good Thursday Morning! Not much going on around here lately. The weather is starting to improve though. It's going to be in the 40's all week and into next week as well and I have to say that it feels so good. Hopefully the snow will all melt away never to return again lol. It will be awhile before it melts where they had to haul it away and dump in though. They take it and dump it in city parks parking lots and it is piled high. So I don't see that melting for quite awhile. I finally caved in and went to the grocery store yesterday. It was getting to be like Old Mother Hubbards cupboards around here. All I had left to cook was salmon and I wasn't in the mood for that. So it was off to the store for me. Now I'm all stocked up again and won't have to go for another month or so. A while back we bought several of those cloth shopping bags and boy are they nice. So much easier to carry then the paper bags. The checker told me they will stop using plastic bags pretty soon which is why they are selling the cloth ones. They're nice as long as you don't forget to take them with you like I almost did. It's all good though, plastic doesn't decompose for years so the less we use the better it is. When I got home yesterday my daughter was here sleeping on the couch lol. She got out of work early and has to pick up her mother-in-law from dialysis at 3 so she laid down and took a nap. It reminded me of when our kids were small. When Bill would get home from work I would some times go over to my parents and take a nap on their couch too lol. When the twins were born the two oldest boys were only 5 and 2 1/2 so I didn't get much sleep. Seems like I'd just get one fed and to sleep when the other one woke up hungry lol. Then of course one of the boys would hear them and wake up too. When they took naps during the day is when I did the housework so a nap then was out of the question. So mom and dad's couch was comfy lol. Well I'm getting hungry so I'm going to get me some breakfast. Have a great day! You know, dog is truly a man's best friend.
If you don't believe it, just try this experiment. Put your dog and your wife (husband) in the trunk of the car for an hour.
When you open the trunk, who is really happy to see you! | 3月11日 | Good morning! I hope your Tuesday is a great day for you. I'm excited today. The weather is going to be kind of nice over the next few days. It's predicted to be all the way in the 40's until the weekend. Then of course it isn't going to last. Another winter storm is suppose to hit us on Monday. But today is going to be halfway nice so I'm not going to worry about Monday. It's a long way off and it might change by then. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed lol. Hollywood is here in Wisconsin. They are filming a movie in Columbus not far from here that stars Johnny Depp. It's called Public Enemy and he is playing John Dillinger. Back in the day Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and their gang came here to lay low for awhile. The producers picked Columbus because it still looks pretty much like it did in the 30's. right now they are painting the buildings the colors they might have been at the time. and have asked people around here to let them use their vintage cars from that era. I guess they got quite a few. I'm wondering though if they are going to go up north where Dillinger and his gang were actually hiding out. They were actually in Manitowish Waters at a place called Little Bohemia Lodge up near Mercer Wisconsin. It was there that the FBI found them and had a shoot-out. The lodge is still there and looks pretty much like it did back then. In fact the bullet holes are still in the walls and even though today it is a restaurant the owners left it like it was and have a museum inside with pictures and paraphernalia from that episode. It turns out that Dillinger and his gang got away that day though lol. Gee, maybe I could go and see if I could get a part in the movie huh lol. Here's a link to read more of The John Dillinger Story if you're interested Al Capone also had a place up North where he would come and hide out. He owned this place though and would come quite often from what I understand. It's simply called The Hideout and is still there and is also a restaurant now. We've been there too and all the original furniture was there when we were. His cars are there and a lot of his guns and clothes along with things of Elliot Ness. It's really quite interesting. It's said that there are tunnels around that Capone would run his bootleg business and hide the booze lol. I once knew a women who lived in Chicago and whose son lived by us and would come to visit often. She was a waitress in a restaurant that Capone would frequent and waited on him once in awhile. She told me that he would tip his waitress $100.00 when he came in. Pretty generous of him huh lol. I love to read about these guys and find it very interesting. I can't imagine living a life like that though. Oh before I go I have to tell you what my daughter's mother-in-law did now. Last Friday the kids had an appointment to go to so they asked us if we could pick her up from dialysis and take her home for them. Of course we said we would. Well, she's pretty frail and it was very icy around their house so we walked along with her to make sure she got in alright. While we were there their phone started to ring. They keep the phone in their bedroom so I went in to check the caller ID to see if it was them calling to make sure we got there ok. Guess what she did. She told Jon that we went in their bedroom. But she didn't tell them that I went in to check the phone. She made it sound like I was just snooping around. She does stuff like that all the time. When my daughter asked me about it and I told her what happened she was fit to be tied. Then when she told Jon why I went into their bedroom he was worried that it would start trouble. I said she's the one starting trouble by not telling the whole story. It' crazy I tell ya and I don't know how my daughter does it. Jon gets on his mom when she does things like that but it doesn't seem to stop her. Even he's getting tired of it. The women is so demanding and wants what she wants when she wants it and when she doesn't get it she tries to give them the guilt trip She'll say things like maybe I should just go to a nursing home then or maybe I should just die. It's driving the kids crazy and even the grandchildren get upset with her. I don't know what's going to happen when the baby is born. It's going to be rough I'm afraid. Ok, I wrote a book here so I hope you don't get bored reading it. And now I have to go get dressed and get busy. See ya later and have a great day. | 3月9日 | Then there were 3, two years later there were 4. Then another two years there was 6 piles. Now it's back to two again. As most of you know our youngest son moved out about 6 weeks ago. He's been slowly getting his things out and I've been washing things as he went along. Well the other day after he'd gotten it all I did some laundry. After I had it all folded and ready to put away I glanced at it and it looked so odd after all these years to have just two little piles of laundry again. It hit me then that we have come full circle. I was never in a hurry for my kids to leave home like some people I know have said about their kids. I enjoyed having them around. Whenever I heard people say that they couldn't wait for them to grow up and move out, I wanted to ask them why they had them then. It never made sense to me. But now that they all have moved out and made lives of their own I'm happy for them. And what's more important is they are happy. Isn't that what we all want for our children? Of course I don't see them as often as I did before they had children but didn't we do the same thing when we started our families? I use to sit and think about my mom and dad after we all left home. I would wonder what they did and how they liked being alone again. In a way though I never left home. We moved close to them and a day didn't go by that I didn't talk to them at least once, and usually it was more like 3,4 or 5 times a day. I think daughters feel the need to stay close to mom and dad a little more then sons do. My daughter does anyway. She calls almost everyday and sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. My sons on the other hand call us but not as much as she does. But life is good and they are happy and that's what it's all about. Well that's what was on my mind when I looked at those two little piles of laundry yesterday lol. Isn't it funny what hits us at times? That's it, that's all for today. I hope you didn't forget to move your clocks ahead. Have a great day! | 3月6日

About Global Warming You hear so much about it nowadays but hasn't it been warming for eons and eons? Take Wisconsin for example. All the hills and valleys, lakes and rivers here were sculpted and created by, you guessed it, a glacier during the ice age over 12,000 years ago. So, that would mean that the polar ice cap started melting long before people were here. Long before car emissions and factories and all the other stuff they say is causing global warming. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for being responsible stewards of the planet and all that. But is there really anything we can do to stop it? Or is it a cycle the earth will go through? Will there be another ice age someday? The Ice Age Trail here is 1000 mile footpath entirely within Wisconsin. There are geological features here that are great examples of continental glaciers anywhere in the world. So if glaciers were down this far they have been declining for thousands and thousands of years.
I've also been thinking about the shape our country is in right now. Our son told us that he will only be working half days next week. A company that his company supplies is out on strike who also supplies General Motors. So of course you get the trickle down effect. General Motors announced that they might start laying off people because of that. The president of the company that's on strike said that if they don't settle within a week or two he will just shut it down. He said he has plants in Mexico and other countries that he will just send the work to them. The thing is he wants them to take a $5.00 to $7.00 cut in pay and take away some of their medical coverage. Ok, here lies the problem. It seems to me the owners don't want to pay decent wages but yet wants us to buy their products. I ask you, how can you buy a 30,000 dollar car on 10.00 dollars an hour wage? Then of course there's the argument that if they didn't have to pay such high wages they wouldn't have to charge so much for their products. Ok that's probably true. But do you think that they would lower their prices if they didn't have to pay the higher wages? For some reason I have my doubts. You know why? Well I'll tell you why. Because the owners and presidents and high management people doesn't want to lose the money they're making off the blood sweat and tears of the people who have made them rich. Heaven forbid if they had to change their lifestyle. I say bring the unions back again and the power to the people.
Everybody wants your money but nobody wants to pay you a wage where you can afford to have just the simple things in life.
And then there's the insurance company's. If there is one thing that should be fixed it's that. It kills me that they can make up their own rules as they go along and doesn't have to answer to anyone. You can pay and pay for years and years for insurance but just have a claim once and they act like it's their money and cancel you out. Insurance's are the biggest scam artists in the country in my opinion.
If things keep going the way it is we will become a 3rd world country.
Well, that's what I've been thinking about. And now I have a headache so I think I will go lay down lol. Catch ya later! | 3月5日 | ! Jesse We love you! Our second oldest son turns 38 today. My how the years have flown. I am so proud of the man you have become Jesse. You are a wonderful husband and father which makes both your dad and I especially proud, So I hope you're birthday is as wonderful as you are. We love you so very very much. Mom & Dad I went shopping with my sister yesterday for a new computer. Her hard drive fried just like mine did. She ended up buying one just like ours. Sadly though it wasn't on sale like it was when we got it. We tried as hard as we could to get the salesman to give her a break lol. We even asked if for a senior citizen discount but he was stubborn lol. We got a computer, monitor and printer for what it cost her for the computer and monitor. While there I found out some things about our computer that I didn't know. There's a little drawer on the front that opens where you can hook up your microphone and headphones and two more upc ports lol. I knew there was something there but I couldn't get it to open and I was afraid to force it and end up breaking it. Well,,,all you do is flip it down. Do I feel stupid or what lol. The bad thing about it though is that it doesn't have a place for floppy disks. I have so many of them that I saved pictures on too. So now I have to find someone who has a port for floppies and transfer them to cd disks. I haven't talked to her yet this morning but I'm sure she's trying to catch up on her e-mail. It's been 3 weeks ago her computer quit working so I'm sure her inbox is mighty full. Then we went over to Hobby Lobby to get some more scrapbook supplies. Once again I felt stupid! I forgot to take my coupon with me so I didn't get all that I wanted. I thought they were having 50% off on everything so I wasn't worried to much about forgetting my coupon but I was wrong. It turns out that just stickers and a few other items were 50% off. Next time I will be sure to read the add better lol and save myself a trip. I won't buy if it's not on sale as that stuff can be mighty costly. Ok, time to get busy so will wish you all a good day. Make it a good one and do something fun today. | 3月4日
FOX Sports on MSN - NFL - Favre has decided to call it a career
THE GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME!!!
Oh no say it isn't so. My Boy Brett Farve is retiring after 17 years. Our local news just broke in with the announcement.
Well I knew it had to happen sooner or later and I'm happy he had a great year last year. I always wanted him to go out on a good year and last year couldn't get much better other then going to and winning the super bowl. So I'm happy for him.
What an illustrious career he's had. I think he's broken just about every football record out there for a quarter back. If there is one he hasn't broken I don't know what it is.
He's Hall of Fame bound that's for sure and consider my self lucky to have been able to see him play in person. I have been to several Packer games and loved every minute of it.
He's not just a good QB but he's an honorable man as well.
So Congratulations Brett on and outstanding career! You will be missed!!!
I am so damn proud to be a
PACKER FAN!!!

We are having yet another baby on our family, It turns out that my sister is going to have her first grandchild in the fall. She was pretty surprised but is slowly getting use to the idea. She's just worried as the kids are so young. Well not that young I guess, they are 22 and 20. I was 20 when we had our first one. One thing I know for sure is that Trent will be a good dad. Much better then his dad is. I wouldn't call him a dad anyway since he hasn't seen or had anything to do with Trent since he was about 3. But Trent has had very good male role models to go by though. First off he had my dad who in Trent's eyes could do no wrong. Then of course he had all of his uncles. When he was little he was with us almost as much as he was with his mom as she had to work. So he had Bill as another role model. I always said he was as much mine as hers lol. So, our family is growing by leaps and bounds and I'm excited.
I don't think my daughter is too happy with the school district they are now in since they moved. Her daughter has always had problems with her eye mattering up since she was born. They have put tubes in her tear ducts, she's had surgery on them but nothing has worked very well. When they moved they told the school all about it and what they have gone through. It's not as bad now as when she was younger but when she gets a cold her eyes acts up again. Well it happened the other day and the school nurse called and told them to take her to the doctor that there is something wrong with Devan's eye. It's on her records but evidently they didn't take the time to look it up. Just to make them happy they have an appointment today to see the doctor. Ok it's probably good they checked her eye but what made Sis really mad is this. Josh fell down out in the playground and cut his cheek. the teacher never checked it out, sent him to the nurse or even called his parents to let them know what happened. In the school district they use to be in someone would always call if a child was hurt at school. They don't bother shoveling the sidewalks to the school and are now glare ice and hazardous walking on them. they don't even plow out the parking lot. It doesn't seem they are on the ball to much there or just don't care. I wish they had never moved and wish they would come back to town. That way we can be closer to help them when the baby comes and the kids would have a good school to go too.
Bank Robber
A man with a gun went into a bank and demanded their money. Once he was given the money, he turned to a customer and asked, "Did you see me rob this bank?" The man replied, "Yes sir, I did." The robber then shot him in the temple, killing him instantly. He then turned to a couple standing next to him and asked the man, "Did you see me rob this bank?" The man replied, "No sir, I didn't, but my wife did."
