    My picture Guestbook

If anyone knows how to  put this in  somewhere other then the blog would you please let me know. It will eventually disappear this way unless I put in every time I post a blog. There must be a way.

Holy cow, did the stock market take a plunge yesterday or what?! I sure hope it's not the start of something. If it is we will be wiped out in no time. It's scary I tell ya! I'd hate to have to go out job hunting again. Not my idea of how I want to spend my golden years. I think I better call our advisor.

For PPA...yes I've heard of wd40 lol. But I'm here to tell you my chair quit squeaking so the PAM worked like a charm. I don't like the smell of wd40 and I try not to use it in the house. Ive heard of using PAM before so I tried it and it worked. So there's a  little household tip for ya lol. Want another tip? When scrubbing your tile floors, put some white vinegar in the rinse water. The vinegar makes it shine and it looks like you just waxed it. Or if it just needs wiping up just use the water and vinegar instead of soap. You won't be sorry. I promise!

My two cents worth...I am so tired of Anna Nicoles mother. Let the women rest in peace for crying out loud. She hadn't seen or talked to her in years so what is she trying to prove now? MONEY is her motive in my opinion. If she didn't care enough to see her when she was alive I doubt she'd be going to visit her grave very often either. So for heaven's sake let her be buried already. Once more I don't believe for one minute that Howard Stern is the babies father. She looks just like Birkhead and I wish they'd get the DNA done so it can be proven. That little girl needs it! Besides I'm so sick of hearing this all day. Get it done and over with!!!

Ok, don't with ranting!!! Going to go jump in the shower. Have a great Hump Day!!!. Oh, and then I'm going to exercise. I just found out a new one and I think I'll try it. It's mostly for seniors. Here it is in case your interested...
Just came across this exercise suggested for seniors, to build
muscle strength in the arms and shoulders.  It seems so easy, so I thought
I'd pass it on to some of my friends and family.  The article suggested
doing it three days a week.

Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you have plenty
of room at each side.  With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your
arms straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you
    can.
Try to reach a full minute, then relax.  Each day, you'll find that you
can hold this position for just a bit longer.

After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato sacks.  Then 50-lb potato sacks.

Eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb potato sack in
each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute.

    (I'm at this level)

    ;

After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of the
    sacks.

    Happy Wednesday

We are going to breakfast this morning with guys Bill use to work with. We do that every few months or so. So I'll be back later if I can beat Bill to the pc.

    See ya later!
    See ya later!
Back from breakfast and boy am I full! So that means I most likely won't eat too much more today. Bill came home and fell back to sleep sitting in his chair so I jumped on here before he woke up.

I just uploaded a video I took with my camera of video I took of the digital picture frame the kids gave me for my birthday. I hope it works. the funy thing is, I took video of Devan and Bri when they slept over and when I played it back on the pc it was real choppy and not smooth like I thought it should be. I don't know if I did anything wrong or what. It played on the windows media player so I would have thought it would have been smooth and not start and stop the way it did. If anyone knows why it did that please let me know what I might be doing wrong.

It's going to be a great day today. Temps near 50 and that's good taking a walk weather. It's 37 right now so as soon as it hits 40 I'm out of here. I am so ready to throw open the doors and windows and get some fresh air in this house! That's the worst thing about winter. The house gets so stale. In the spring when you can finally open up everything it feel just like the house took in a big huge breath.

Well Bill's awake now and I have a house that need cleaning so I better get at it. It goes without saying that he's not going to do it lol. I guess I'll leave the sleep over at grandma's story for tomorrow because I wanted you to see the picture frame. Later I'm going to hook it up to the pc and add some more pictures to it. I'm still waiting for the pictures my son took and I've been after him to send them but he hasn't yet. Guess I'll have to ground him.

I hope all of you has a terrific Wednesday.

But first...Has this ever happened to you in a public bathroom?
    This could happen to you.

I was barely sitting down when I heard a voice from the other stall saying:

    "Hi, how are you?"

I'm not the type to start a conversation in the restroom but I don't know what got into me, so I answered, somewhat embarrassed,

    "Doin' just fine!"

    And the other person says:

"So what are you up to?"

What kind of question is that? At that point, I'm thinking this is too bizarre so I say:

"Uhhh, I'm like you, just traveling!"

At this point I am just trying to get out as fast as I can when I hear another question.

    "Can I come over?"

Ok, this question is just too weird for me but I figured I could just be polite and end the conversation. I tell them ,

"No........I'm a little busy right now!!!"

Then I hear the person say nervously...

"Listen, I'll have to call you back. There's an idiot in the other stall who keeps answering all my questions!!!"

    A Cold Friday

Good Friday Morning One and All

Can't be on here long today. I have an insurance lady coming in a littl while. I'm looking  and hoping to get relitively cheap health insurance.  I haven't had any for a few months as the one I did have went up from $42 a month to over $500. Not because I have anything wrong with me, they raised it on everyone. I've been looking but it's not easy. This women works for the state and is a certified senior advisor. She was recommended by a friend and they said they don't have to pay too much. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It's rediculouse what insurance company's get away with. They've got you right where they want you. I don't think it's fair that they can just jack up their prices soooo much at the drop of the hat like they do. I think there should be a cap on what they can charge. They don't have to answer to anyone and can do what they please when they please. I do think the government could and should do something. If not with the insurance company's at least with health care. Other countries do it so I don't see any reason why this one can't.

Well it's superbowl weekend. I kind of hope the bears win, but I don't really care all that much. I like to watch just for the commercials if the Packers aren't in it. I might go up and watch the game with the girls. I say I might because it's always so crowded there when there's a game on. Who do you want to win?

Ok, I gotta go and get dressed. It is 10:03 already and I'm still not dressed lol. See ya !

    Thirsty Thursday

    myspace codes

I'm not sure what I'm going to do today if I do anything. Last night Sis's kids were here until about 7 when their dad picked them up. The had fun making a tent out of blankets in the living room. Well that is until they started fighting and wouldn't stop so I had to take it down. Other then that they were good.

As you all know I read true crime and that my favorite author is Ann Rule. She has a new book coming out in April and those of you who live in Georgia might be interested in it. "This book is about the bizarre story of Dr. Barton Corbin, a Georgia dentist, and two women in his life--Dolly Hearn, a fellow dental student--and Jennifer Corbin, his wife. This promises to be one of the most remarkable and tangled stories Ann has ever told."I took this quote off of her website. 48 hours is going to have it on there too. I'm sure they will do a good job and I do plan on watching it, but they can't get into the real details in an hour show like Ann does in her books. What I like about Ann is that she gives the victims a voice. She doesn't just focus on the crime but the whole story. What lead up to it and what happened after. I'm really looking forward to it! She says on her website that she feels this is her best book ever. And that's saying a lot seeing that she's written over 20 books. Her fans call themselfs ARF'S (Ann Rule Fans) and I am honored to be one. She even reconginized us at the beginning of her last book. Some are planning a gathering in Seattle Washington in the spring and I would just love to go. Of course we hope we will be able to meet Ann since that's where she lives and that would be the icing on the cake. Another author who has joined our group lives there as well and is planning on joining. His name is Gregg Olsen, another very good true crime author.

I'm sure Bill wouldn't go and I've never traveled that far by myself but I'm willing to give it a go. Some who live there are setting it all up and would meet us at the airport so I don't see having any problems. I've never been to Washington and would love seeing Mt. St. Helen's and Puget Sound. So keep your fingers crossed for me ok?
